What is ADVIS?
ADVIS is the Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools.
ADVIS member schools work together to promote independent education and make their schools accessible to a wide range of families. ADVIS is a non-profit organization; its mission is to support and strengthen the administrative and financial activities of independent member schools by providing professional development, cooperative efforts, and inter-school collaboration.

Here on our Web site, we’ve brought together comprehensive information on our 135 Independent Member Schools throughout the tri-state region, covering eastern Pennsylvania, northern Delaware, and Central and Southern New Jersey.

Feel free to e-mail ADVIS for additional information, questions, or comments regarding our Web site.

The schools listed herein admit students of any race, color, national and ethic origin to the rights, privileges, programs and activities available to all students at the schools. They do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethic origin in the administration of their education policies, admission policies, financial aid programs, athletic programs, or other school administered programs.

The ADVIS member schools listed on this Web site are state licensed and, in most cases, accredited. Accreditation has been earned through a rigorous evaluation process with one or more of the following agencies: MSAC&S (Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools), PAPAS (Pennsylvania Association of Private Academic Schools), and NJAIS (New Jersey Association of Independent Schools).
