The Lawrenceville School, a nationally recognized coeducational boarding school of 750 students from approximately 40 states and 27 foreign countries, rests on a beautiful campus with outstanding academic and athletic facilities. The School’s “conference table” teaching style provides the ideal venue for intellectual stimulation and enrichment, preparing students to be active, thoughtful members of society. The curriculum includes approximately 300 courses in eleven academic disciplines, with a variety of Advanced Placement, honors and elective courses. Independent study, off-campus and term-off projects are also available. Lawrenceville’s most distinguishing feature is the House system, unique among American boarding schools. Each Housemaster maintains close daily contact with his or her students, and each individual’s contribution to the quality of the residential community is what makes the House system work. Over the past five years, 20 or more students have matriculated at Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and the University of Virginia.
