Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy challenges its students to become autonomous thinkers and to apply their intellect. Barrack Hebrew Academy's students are actively mentored by our noted faculty and offered a rigorous curriculum of mathematics, humanities and sciences. This curriculum includes a full range of honors and Advanced Placement courses that provide thorough preparation for college. While Barrack Hebrew Academy's secular curriculum is demanding, it is the pluralistic focus of its Judaic studies program that distinguishes Barrack Hebrew Academy from other schools in the area. Forty percent of Barrack Hebrew Academy's curriculum is devoted to the study of Hebrew Language, Bible, Talmud, Jewish Law, Jewish History, Zionism and Israel. These courses are offered in flexible groupings which enable us to meet each student’s educational needs. Barrack Hebrew Academy is proudly entering its Jubilee celebration marking fifty years of educational excellence. Barrack Hebrew Academy is the oldest secondary Jewish Day School in the country.
