Professional Bio

Diana B. Waters, Ed.D (she/her/hers) is a Black, cis-woman embracing all expressions of gender identity. Diana is the president and founder of Diana Waters Coaching and Consulting, a coaching and consulting practice based near Philadelphia. Diana helps people navigate through transformation in order to lean more fully into their personal and professional values, mission and goals. She is particularly adept at supporting folks in managing identity differences relative to power and privilege.

For over 30 years, Diana has facilitated, trained, and coached individuals and groups in communication skills, conflict transformation, organizational development, and DEIBJ. She believes that these skills are critical for strong, empowered, individuals, organizations and communities committed to fighting for equity & justice. Her work spans not-for-profit, for-profit, and grass-roots community organizations; public and independent school sectors. This extensive experience complements her decades-long career in higher education, where she advised in an experiential education model, designed portfolio assessment tools, and taught courses on Education & Race Studies.
Diana is the parent and grandparent of several independent school alumni. Currently, she is on the BOT of Lansdowne Friends School. She loves to work with people who have core values of integrity, community, justice, and joy wanting to live in alignment with their values. Supporting people in rising to mutual power across differences is Diana’s superpower; Transformative Education and storytelling are Diana’s two loves.
