Professional Bio
Over the course of Kirk's career, he has served as a college admissions officer, a teacher, and a division director. He is currently the longest serving Head of School at Delaware Valley Friends School, a Quaker School serving students who learn differently in grades 1-12. He is a convinced Friend and a member of Brooklyn Friends Meeting. He is married to Sarah, an expert on Myanmar and Southeast Asia who currently serves as the Director of the Quaker United Nations Office in New York City. Originally from Colorado, Kirk has lived in the Mid-Atlantic region since the late nineties. Sarah and Kirk are the proud parents of Casey, an Quaker school alumn currently studying history and politics as an undergraduate.
