Organization Overview
Princeton Friends School is a learning community rooted in kindness, respect, and service. Every day, our preschool to 8th-grade students are engaged in hands-on, child-centered education that builds skills, deepens knowledge, and inspires creative, critical, and independent thinking. In our classrooms and gathering places, our woods and playgrounds, students and teachers collaborate in an environment of discovery and intellectual vigor. Enrolling approximately 125 students, PFS offers an exceptional, forward-thinking curriculum and a welcoming, diverse community where every child is known. The Quaker values of peace, social justice, and reflection infuse all we do at PFS.

Mission
Drawing on a rich tradition of Quaker values and practices, Princeton Friends School is committed to creating a diverse, vibrant learning community in which young people engage their natural curiosity; discover and express their individual voices and gifts; acquire intellectual, physical, artistic, and life skills; and develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and others. Princeton Friends both prepares students for the world that is and models possibilities for the society that these young people will one day help to create.
