Professional Bio
Cherise Ogle has 26 years of experience in college admissions, working on both the college and high school sides of the process. She began her career as an Assistant Dean of Admission at Hofstra University and later served as Assistant Director of Admission at Oglethorpe University.
She founded the Center for Educational Planning, an independent educational consulting firm supporting students in the U.S. and abroad. She later pioneered the College Advisor role in the South Fulton school district, serving as the first College Advisor at Westlake High School.
Mrs. Ogle went on to serve as Director of College Counseling at Atlanta Jewish Academy and is currently the Associate Dean of College Counseling at The Weber School, where she has worked for the past eight years.
Active in the professional community, she serves as Chair of the Atlanta NACAC College Fair, Co-chair of NACAC’s Leading Dynamic College Counseling Office pre-conference workshop, an application reader for Loyola Marymount University, and, most recently, she was appointed to the NACAC Ad Hoc Committee for Centering Student Voices in the Secondary Counseling and College Advising Process.
