Professional Bio
Lauren is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College and earned her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from The Ohio State University. After receiving her master’s degree, she returned to the small liberal arts college environment and joined the residential life office at Vassar College. Fueled by a desire to work more closely with students, Lauren transitioned to secondary schools as the Director of College Counseling at Oakwood Friends School, remaining there for seven years before joining The Hill’s College Counseling team in 2013. She was appointed Co-Director in 2022 and then Director in 2025. Lauren has served in several leadership positions for the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC) and is a co-leader of the National Association for College Admission Counseling Special Interest Group for counselors at private schools. Lastly, Lauren serves on the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools’ 360 Review Team.
